This rugged and beautiful landscape features deep gorges, towering cliffs, and remote mountain villages. One of the highlights of this journey is a drive through Snake Canyon, a narrow gorge known for its dramatic natural beauty. You’ll also visit Bilad Sait, considered one of the most picturesque villages in Oman. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing your drive to the hotel, arriving in the evening. After breakfast, drive to Misfat Al Abriyeen, a charming mountain village known for its ancient stone houses perched on cliffs and its traditional falaj irrigation system. Continue to Al Hamra, home to centuries-old multi-storied mud-brick homes and lush date plantations. Drive to Al Ayn to visit the archaeological complex, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring Bronze Age tombs dating back to the 3rd millennium BCE. Continue to Jabrin Castle, one of the best-preserved castles in Oman, known for its painted ceilings and secret passageways. Then visit Bahla Fort, another UNESCO-listed fortress, before continuing to Nizwa. Check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Nizwa.

After breakfast, explore the historic town of Nizwa, once the capital of Oman. Visit the 17th-century Nizwa Fort and the lively souq, famous for silver jewelry and local handicrafts.
